Soundtrack acquired Tunify in February 2026. Tunify customers move over to Soundtrack at their next renewal. You can also choose a Dutch provider; this is how the two compare.

A worked example

A venue with two rooms that wants to keep playing without internet, billed yearly:
BackSound Stream: STREAM PRO, €29.95 per month for both rooms together.
Soundtrack: Unlimited twice, 2 × €55 = €110 per month.
If you want different music in each room, you need an amplifier per room with us. We supply and install those too.

According to Tunify itself, Tunify keeps working until you move over. The move to Soundtrack happens in phases, around your next renewal, and you will be told personally.

No. Around your renewal you can also choose another provider. Check your contract for the notice period you have with Tunify.

For one room without offline playback: STREAM €9.99 per month against Soundtrack Starter €29. With offline playback: STREAM PRO €29.95 against €55 for Soundtrack Unlimited. All billed yearly and excluding VAT.

Playlists you have on Spotify can be brought over to BackSound Stream from STREAM PRO. Ready-made playlists per industry and time of day are there as well.

Yes. With BackSound Stream and with Soundtrack you arrange the fee for playing music in public yourself, via mijnlicentie.nl. Check your current Tunify contract for how it is arranged for you now.
